How to Delete Your Data
Complete instructions for removing all your data from Braddy and disconnecting the app from your Facebook account.
Delete Your Braddy Account
To permanently delete your Braddy account and all associated data from our servers:
- Log in to your Braddy dashboard
- Navigate to Account Settings in the sidebar
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click the "Delete Braddy Account" button
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears
What gets deleted: This action permanently removes all your data from our servers, including:
- All connected Facebook/Instagram pages and their moderation settings
- Comment history and moderation logs
- Direct message conversations and message history (Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs)
- Brand voice settings and uploaded documents
- All moderation and DM rules and automation configurations
- Your Braddy account profile and preferences
Remove Braddy from Your Facebook Account
To completely disconnect Braddy from your Facebook account and remove all app permissions:
- Go to your Facebook Settings
- Navigate to Business Tools section
- Find Braddy in the list of active apps
- Click "Remove" or "Edit" to manage permissions
- Confirm the removal
Important: This step removes the app connection from your Facebook account. After removing the app, Braddy will no longer have access to your Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts.
Note: If you've already deleted your Braddy account (Step 1), the app may no longer appear in this list. However, it's still recommended to check and remove it if present.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is irreversible. Once you delete your Braddy account, all data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
- Your Facebook/Instagram accounts are not affected. Deleting your Braddy account does not delete or modify your actual Facebook, Instagram, or Meta accounts, pages, posts, content, or followers.
- Complete removal requires both steps. For complete data removal, you should both delete your Braddy account (Step 1) and remove the app from Facebook (Step 2).
- Data processing stops immediately. Once you delete your account, we immediately stop processing any new comments, direct messages, or data from your connected pages.
